Got more than half way through Ayn Rand's The Fountainhead. Just wanted to quote something from it, "Men hate passion, any great passion. Henry Cameron made a mistake, he loved his work. That was why he fought, that was why he lost." "What do you want? Perfection? - or nothing. So you see, I take the nothing."

Yep..one of the many quotes to think about in that book.
BTW..jokaju, I still haven't finished reading the book. It's like I'm afraid I'll finish it because it is one of the best books ever and I want to take time in reading it!

I think you should go for it...but if you are allergic to thick books, this one's not for you ;D
This book is about so many things..but the subject that the author taps on is architecture and how this one architect, Howard Roark, is totally ahead of his times by designing buildings considered 'blasphemous' during his time. The characters are so interesting..and I'm captivated by the author's philosophy. I can't believe this book was published in the early 20th century and I've just heard of it now!
Anyway, I'm reading Tuesdays with Morrie now.

Around 700 pages or the thickness of a normal Oxford Dictionary.

I've never read any story of Harry Potter. Would it be all right to start with this one or do you recommend that I read the other books first?
