This match has been held up due to rain. If West Indies are able to bat for 14 overs today then we will have a result in this match. The South Africans did well to set the West Indies a target of 247. It could have been worse if the West Indian bowlers had not shown as much discipline as they did. They simply lacked discipline in the past but it was great to see such a disciplined bowling performances. There were only two wides - none by the fast bowlers - and no no-balls in the entire innings.
At 0/20 after six overs, the strong West Indian batting line up with Sarwan, Lara, Chanderpaul, Powell, R. Hinds, Bravo, Browne, Bradshaw and Collymore to follow the two openers Gayle and Hinds, Windies are my favourites to set up a clash against the winner of the match between India and Pakistan.
The West Indies batting looks really strong. Corey Collymore played all four tests against England at home and was not even dismissed once in the four matches where the West Indians were all out in six occasions. The rest of the team except Bradshaw can bat really well.
I am going to stop now. I know how badly the Windies have performed lately. I think they will win not only this match but also this championship.

West Indies won by 5 wickets...congratulations to them!! Congratulations go out to me as well and also to you. The moment you said that England beat the West Indies the day before, I knew the West Indies would win that. So you must have noticed how confident I started to seem.
