Even though my interest will be in London where West Indies will be trying to get the better of South Africa, one of the most anticipated cricket matches will be going on in Edgbaston. (I think.) India and Pakistan will battle it out for a right to play probably the West Indies or South Africa in the semi finals.

I don't care who wins. But, the next match will be the last for the winner if the rain allows West Indies to beat South Africa.

Correction: It is in fact good weather and not rain that will allow the Windies to win today.

PAKISTAN BEAT THE DHOTIS!!
Edgbaston or Old Trafford, I couldn't care less because all that matters to me is that PAKISTAN BEAT INDIA, the Pakistanis rocked, they were simply fantastic, composed, incredible and accurate and I am so proud to be a supporter of that team…. I don't care if they go through to the finals or not, all I care about is that they beat India in one of the best games of cricket I have ever watched. If the Pakistanis continue such performances, they are going to surpass the Aussies in my favourites list.
And this was such a great game, my heart was in my mouth throughout the Pakistani innings. This is one of the most nerve-racking experiences I've ever had, the tension was killing, it was almost as if I was facing the damn ball, and I was heartbroken when Afridi played in his reckless way and got caught trying to send one out of the ground, and I shouted with joy after Youhana hit that last winning run down to third man, and it was an absolute pleasure to see Ganguly's sullen face afterwards (that guy really can't take defeat like a sportsman)…and people say cricket isn't exciting enough. I feel like singing…I never knew a mere game of cricket could do this to you. I don't like cricket, I LOVE it!!
P.S. Congratulations to Inzi-ul-Haq for scoring 10,000 fabulous runs in ODIs, You Rule!!

Congratulations go out to Inzi for reaching the landmark. The Indians did pretty well to make a fight out of the match. I think they lost it in the very first hour. Yousuf gets credit for being able to remain calm as he steered his side to victory.
Pakistan is my second best team after the West Indies. There are a few other teams which are my second favourites. In alphabetical order, they are: Australia, Bangladesh, England, India, New Zealand, South Africa, Srilanka, and Zimbabwe.

That's pretty much all the teams in international cricket....it's good you like 'em all...but Bangladesh and Zimbabwe and India
