The tour starts today. I have very little hope. Unlike last year, I won't risk fights with my mom and sleep at night.

The Windies have closed the first day of the first test match in Guyana on 3/347. Wavell Hinds smashed an unbeaten 188 while captain Shiv Chanderpaul is 102 not out. Evem the second string West Indies team will be difficult to beat from here but there's always a chance. South Africa are no more odds on favourites to win this test match.
I, being a West Indies supporter, am really delighted. But when Darren Ganga was out for nought, I was acutally celebrating.

Shiv and Wavell both smashed double hundreds. South Africa will begin day two on two without loss chasing West Indies first innings score of 5/543 declared.

The bowlers have done well to. The rain hasn't allowed too much play though. However South Africa are 6/130 in their first innings and in deep trouble.

Looks like the Windies will lose the second test. They lead by only 143 with just one second innings wicket in hand on the final day.
