Justine lost on day two, shock of the tournament. I was hoping she could bag the one missing grand slam. All the best for the US Open Justine. My womens' favourite must now be Maria Sharapova. Serena nearly lost too but she came through in the end, so sad. Henman fought back to win. That was fantastic. Second round matches start today.

I think Roddick has a better chance this year than he's ever had before.

I hope she wins not only that but also the final.
The pattern at Wimbledon over the last five years has been like this:
2000 & 2001: Venus Williams 2002 & 2003: Serena Williams 2004 & 2005: Maria Sharapova if Sharapova wins this year.

You can catch the live scores at www.wimbledon.org if you are allowed to use the internet. Or you can go home and catch the highlights.

The top three seeds in both the mens and the women's game have made it to the semis. Rafael Nadal and Serena Williams, the fourth seeds have been replaced by Thomas Johannson and Venus Williams. The finals in both the mens and womens draws may be between the top two seeds. This may not have happened many times before.

Congratulations to Venus Williams and Roger Federer for winning the titles. It was sad Sharapova went out. She's only 18 and will have many other opportunites. I didn't watch too many matches in the later part of Wimbledon this year.
