Hi Anup,
Life is not really satisfactory because my sleep cycle has gone haywire. I tend to fall asleep very late at night and get up with a feeling of heaviness in my head every morning. As a result I'm not able to concentrate on anything all day long. Then I have an irresistible feeling of sleepiness in the evening which wanes off as night time begins. The same cycle is repeated again.
Any advices for this stubborn problem?
What about yours? Everything all right?

Sounds like jetlag to me lol. Seriously, change your sleep pattern. It's not difficult. Afterall, you control your own body.

Well he's only in India. How can it be jetlag? And he only went there three years ago. He has come back to Nepal twice and the last time was months ago.

I wonder how easy it is to change one's sleep pattern. There was another friend who needed to change her sleep pattern. I hope she has done it by now.

This could also be a medical problem, He needs to have his sleeping habits evaluated, it could be SLEEP APNEA, a very serious and sometimes deadly condition. If Not, I myself do not believe in prescribed medication for this kind of disorder, I chose the herbal path, there are many fine medicinal herbs that will aid in sleep

aLYZah, Then you will know some of the misconceptions of Apnea. Some would have you believe that it is limited to over-wright, or obese people...this IS NOT TRUE. Another: People with Apnea always Snore when they sleep...not so. I have had two encounters with this disorder..which I WILL TELL HERE:
I stayed with, and cared for a friends farm after she lost her husband. She did snore Way at the other end and on the next level of her huge house, at night I could easily here her snoring loudly. she would snore steadily, then SILENCE, then after 30-45 seconds, you could here her GASP for air, then her snoring would start again. I told her what I heard at night. She went to a sleep clinic, spend the night, and they diagnosed her with severe Apnea....her breathing was actually stopping for that 30-45 seconds!
SHE NOW IS SLEEPING, NO MORE FATIGUE, HEAVINESS IN HER CHEST, SHE DOES HAVE THE INCONVENIENCE OF USING A DEVICE AT NIGHT, CALLED A c-PACK.
Eric. I was to meet Eric, a fine gardener, with great knowledge. I had no knowledge of his problems or lifestyle. He lived in Minneapolis, MN. A friend was to introduce us. I followed him in my car the day we were to meet. Upon arrival at his home, Police cars were everywhere, In a large city, not wanting to get in the middle of this, I asked my friend to please go in and see what was going on while I waited. Eric's parents were inside, HE DIED IN HIS SLEEP, CAUSE...APNEA. HIS AGE 25.
So Please, if you know anyone with the symptoms Finlip described above, URGE THEM TO TALK WITH THEIR DOCTOR.
I practice homeopathic medicine, and use ONLY herbal remedies, But this is One that requires medical attention!
