As you see from my signature, I am a Master Gardener. I not only garden, I am a gardening Adviser for the University of Minnesota We garden Organically, That involves using only Natural amendments, No chemical fertilizers, pesticides, herbicides. It is the only way to go! On top of that, We raise : for Competition. By doing it organically, I am at a disadvantage, and have so far not been able to defeat the competition, who uses chemicals...strange odd things ...that are poisonous, and dangerous. Last year, my best was 527 pounds. second best was 461 pounds and My new bride, first attempt was 237 pounds! ;D Now those weights may sound large; however, the world record holder from last year, weighed in at 1446 pounds Proof is in the pics: first the 527 pounder Now the 461 pounder here they are on trailer ready to go, the one nearest the van is the 461, next is the 527 and last is my wifes 237. We were all beat by this man's pumpkin that day, it was , although mine beside it looks bigger, his weighed 403 pounds more. It weighed 930 pounds:

I just ate pumpkin this morning. I wonder how many days our family would take to eat the 527 pounder. All the best, Phil. Get to four digits soon. You are already there in terms of kilograms.
